Originally from Ireland, Briggs grew up in London and is now based in New York.
Starting out as a photographer and stylist while studying fashion,
Briggs switched to fine art establishing her passion for figurative paintings. Graduating from Central St Martins in 2001.
Opportunity led to a parallel career as an actor, whilst raising two children.
Now working full time as an artist with a multi-disciplined approach to her artwork.
Briggs’ main practice focuses on communicating desire, intimacy and reflection alongside producing more fast paced illustration work.
